The SFGA began their 2016 golf season with a tournament Tuesday, March 1 at Land O’ Lakes Golf Course near Whiteville with a total of 68 players. These weekly tournaments, held each Tuesday, consist of senior golfers in the area. The winners of the season-opening tournament were Emery White, C.L. Gore, Hugh Brady and Charles Hungerford.
