Fifty-nine players showed up to play in the August 16 SFSGA tourney held at Land O’ Lakes Golf Course near Whiteville. The winning team, with a score of 49, was Frank Gray, Jimmy Jones, Charles Hungerford and Dennie Pait.
The August 23 tournament will be held at Timberlake Golf Course in Clinton.
