The SFGA played their June 5 tourney at Land O’ Lakes Golf Course with 88 players participating. Two teams tied for first place with scores of 48. Those teams were: Wilbur Simmons, Dennie Pait, Stephen Lennon and Bradley Butler and the team consisting of C.P. Lewis, Freddie Atkinson, Oliver Carter and Jeff Wrenn.
Stephen Lennon had a hole in one on hole number 9, a 120 yard par 3. Next week’s tourney will be held at Pinecrest in Lumberton.
