Southeastern Fellowship Golf Association Holds Tourney At Land O’ Lakes Golf Course

A record crown of 81 golfers showed up on a beautiful summer day Tuesday, August 1, 2017, to play in the SFGA tourney at Land O’ Lakes Golf Course near Whiteville. The tourney this week used the Stableford System with two-man teams.

There were four flights and the winners were:

First Flight..(60).. Rob Conway-Kenny Stanley.

Second Flight..(41)..Jeff Smith-Butchie Martin.


Third Flight..(36)..Oliver Carter-Kenneth Packer.


Fourth Flight..(33)..Larry Suggs-Al Phillips.

There was a hole-in-one by Bradley Butler of Bladenboro. He aced the 122 yard 14th hole with a nine iron.


Next week’s tourney to be held at Gates Four Country Club.
