The Southeastern Fellowship Senior’s Golf Tourney was held at the Coharie Country Club and was a huge success. Forty-nine players participated in the March 15 Southeastern Fellowship Senior’s Golf Tourney at Coharie Country Club in Clinton. Two teams tied for first place with scores of 49. The SFGA began their 2016 golf season with a tournament Tuesday, March 1 at Land O’ Lakes Golf Course near Whiteville with a total of 68 players. These weekly tournaments, held each Tuesday, consist of senior golfers in the area. The winners of the season-opening tournament were Emery White, C.L. Gore, Hugh Brady and Charles Hungerford.
